Brikr AI Is Now in Beta
Brikr AI is now live in beta — and it can answer a lot more than it could before.
When we first shipped AI support, it was good at answering questions about your collection: what you own, how many pieces, which sets are retiring. That was a useful start. But collectors kept asking things like "What parts come with the Millennium Falcon?" or "How many Technic sets came out in 2023?" — catalog questions that required real data, not just memory.
So we built the tools to answer them.
What's new in the beta
Catalog lookups. Brikr AI can now look up the parts and minifigs inside any set, search the catalog by theme and year, and look up part colors by part number. Ask it anything about the catalog — not just your collection.
Conversation history. Threads you've had are now saved automatically. Tap any entry in the "Continue" section on the briefing screen to pick up exactly where you left off.
Per-set pricing (Brikr Pro). Ask "How much is my UCS Millennium Falcon worth?" and Brikr AI will check the estimated market value stored in your collection — the same number you see on the set detail page.
Cloud AI fallback (Brikr Pro). When a complex question pushes past what Apple Intelligence can handle on-device, Brikr Pro subscribers now get a cloud AI fallback. Your collection data is still processed locally — the cloud model only synthesizes the answer.
What "beta" means
We're releasing this as a beta because the on-device model is still being refined. It handles collection and catalog questions well, but it doesn't get everything right. We're actively improving the question-routing and tool coverage, and we'll drop the beta label when we're confident in the consistency.
In the meantime: the disclaimer at the bottom of the AI screen ("May not answer every question correctly") is there for a reason. When it gets something wrong, use the retry button — and feel free to rephrase.
Requirements
Brikr AI requires iOS 26 and an Apple Intelligence-capable device (iPhone 15 Pro or newer). The cloud fallback requires Brikr Pro. Free users get 5 questions per day; Pro is unlimited.
